Overall I personally rate this book an 8 out of of 10. I loved how “Caro” stayed true to herself and who she loves no matter who stood in her way not even a God and how she finally accepted that it was okay to love and be loved without giving away parts of herself and her dreams. I enjoyed the mixture of the piracy/sailing aspects which gave me personally “Pirates of the Caribbean” vibes and the storyline of a main character choosing to give up his “king” role(I know that isn’t the way that it’s phrased in the book) for the good of his country and himself. My personal review of the book is as follows: With shipwrecks, lost treasure, old and new enemies, dark magic, and breathtaking romance, Sarah Tolcser weaves another epic story about chasing your fate. I picked up a hardcover edition of the book from Amazon because I had to how everything ends.
